About Macedonia

The Republic of Macedonia is a southeastern European country, north of Greece and west of Bulgaria. Capital city of Macedonia is Skopje. This country was part of former Yugoslavia but has in 1991 declared independence. Most of the residents are of Eastern Orthodox Christian and Muslim faith, while some are Roman Catholic or Protestant. Serbia is located in Southeastern Europe, with its 88,300 square kilometers it consists from two part so to say: Serbia and province Vojvodina. Serbia has close to 8 million inhabtants, and the capital city of Serbia is Belgrade. The main religion in Serbia is Christian Ortodox but other religions are presented in Serbia as well. Montenegro and Kosovo were parts of Serbia in the past but Montenegro voted for its independence on May 21st 2006 and was declared an independent state on June 3rd 2006. Kosovo did it few years after, Serbia declared its independence on June 5th 2006 becoming an independent state, under its own name, for the first time since 1918. Serbia is fastly catching up with modern integration and is about to enter European union any time soon.

Serbia is becoming very interesting to foreign investors since it has very open minded policy to foreign investements and many transnational coorporation are interested in coming and opening sites throughout the country.

Popular destinations

Budva – is the touristic capital of Montenegro, with its natural bay where it is positioned and rich history it is attracting more and more visitors every year. The Budva coast is 21 km long with 17 beaches. It is among the most beautiful coasts in the Adriatic and when visiting Montenegro this is the place you simply have to see. In the Old part of the town you can also visit many shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries but also old sacred locations which are important part of the history of Budva.

Podgorica is the capital city. Podgorica lies on 5 rivers. Since the city was heavily bombarded in second world war it can be said that it is newly reborn city. It has modern style architecture with lot of parks and green surfaces.
