General information
Skopje is the capital and the largest city of Macedonia with over 600,000 inhabitants. The city has long history and it was mentioned first 4000 BC. When in Skopje you can definitely feel the Legacy of komunism with huge buildings dominating the landscape with manly greyish coloring gives you the feeling like you have come back in time, while once you are in you can feel the Macedonian hospitality, and find numerous restaurant when you can taste traditional Macedonian quisine and have a bootle of one of the great Macedonian wines. Lately Industrial development has been intensified with trading and banking sector developments as well as improving infrastrucutre of the Maceodnia’s rich culture and education locations.

Skopje is located 440 kilometer away from Belgrade, 250 km from Sofia, 230 km from Thessalonica, 815 km from Zagreb, 450 km from Sarajevo.
Airports
Skopje – Alexandar the Great located 17 km from the city centre. There are lot of car rental companies present at the airport.
Traffic
The traffic in Skopje sometimes is very hectic. No imagination is wild enough to describe the numerous possibilities of how to get from one place to another.
