Business terms
- Quaestio has arranged your rental with the car rental company shown on the voucher after your payment of the services. Quaestio is independent, not an agent for any particular car hire company. The voucher is not a rental agreement. When you pick up the vehicle, you must sign a rental agreement provided by the rental company and subject to local laws. Quaestio voucher must be presented at the rental desk in order to guarantee the Quaestio rate is applied. Additional fees may apply for rental service beyond hours of operation.
Your rental includes
- * Sales tax as of Booking Date
* Unlimited mileage
* Liability Insurance for injuries or damages to persons or things
outside the vehicle.
* Rental includes Collision Damage coverage and Theft Protection
for the vehicle. Rental limits potential vehicle damage or loss liability to an
excess depending on the vehicle booked.
Rental does not include
- * Insurance for personal injuries / damages to drivers and passengers, optional coverage may
be offered locally for an additional fee.
* Gasoline or Diesel. Client is advised to return the vehicle with a full fuel tank and to retain copies of gas receipts.
* Local toll, highway fees, or travel stickers which may be required by local authorities.
* Loss Damage waiver.
General rental terms
- Quaestio does not provide insurance. Coverage is provided by the rental company as indicated. Additional coverage may be available for purchase from the rental company.
* Quaestio has no cancellation or amendment fees if advised 24 hours prior to the rental start date. Should the customer cancel less than 24 hours prior to rental start date or not show up the deposit charged will be used to settle the no show fees agreed with car rental companies.
* Optional items (ie: luggage rack, child seats, etc.) are on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
* Drop off charges, if applicable, are estimates only, and may change without notice.
* Deliveries/Collections are available on a request basis only, for an additional fee.
* Minimum driver age dpeends on the country of rental. Additional drivers sign on and pay a fee locally. For travel into all other countries, each country must be noted on voucher at time of booking and a cross border fee will apply locally. Vehicles are not
permitted to travel on ferries or to any island locations without pre-approval from Quaestio.
* Clients are strongly advised to check if car is DIESEL or REGULAR fuel at pick up .
* Please note: In common with most car hire suppliers the insurance coverage does not cover damage to windows, tyres, the roof, underside & interior of the vehicle, towing charges or damage caused negligently, wilfully or recklessly.
Customer's right to changes and cancellations
- If the customer wishes to change or cancel a reservation, this must be done in written form (email, mail, or fax). Changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date.
In case of cancellation the cancellation policy will be applied as follows:
For cancellations made less the 24 hours prior to arrival or NO SHOW situation deposit charged will be held by Quaestio in order
to settle the same fees agreed with the car rental companies.
Protecting personal data
- Quaestio d.o.o. pledges to protect personal data from its customers. We will gather only the personal data
necessary to carry out the orders submitted. Quaestio d.o.o. informs the customers about the way of securing the personal
data, and gives its customers the ability to choose not to participate in various lists which we may prepare for marketing
purposes or to remove their data from our systems altogether. All the data about our customers are securely stored and are
available only to authorized personnel. All the employees and business partners of Quaestio d.o.o. are responsible for
performing under the similar terms for handling the customer private data.
Payment on our website is safe! We use Webteh Payment Gateway service for online payment (http://www.Webteh.hr), which employs the newest security technologies, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security protocol with at least 128-bit encryption, as well as other technologies and security procedures designed to protect privacy of your data. The exchange of confidential data between the online payment system and the authorization centers of credit card companies is done through a Virtual Private Network (VPN), completely protected from unauthorized access. Confidential data from your credit card is sent directly to the authorization center online. Card numbers are not stored in our system.
The indicator of secure communication between your personal computer and Webteh Payment Gateway is a small icon of padlock in the ower corner of your web browser. If you hover your mouse pointer over that little padlock, a small tool-tip will appear, saying SSL Secured, as well as showing the current level of encryption (128-bit).
